I think my dog was stolen?

Our dog has never run away before and always sticks around our yard and house. She is very loyal and never leaves the front yard. We live in a very safe neighborhood so maybe someone just picked her up thinking she was lost. She is a gorgeous female weimaraner and is a sweetiepie. We were inside and my stepdad left for the gym, but told us that she needed to be left outside because she peed in the house today. I'm going to call the animal shelter tomorrow and put up posters, also check our vet's office.Please give ny advice you can, i don't know what to do.
