Goldfish with swim bladder problems?

So my fantail goldfish had 'swim bladder disorder', but the first time around, I managed to fix it with some peas. This time, though, his stomach seems to be squished around his anal fIns, and the sides seem square and sharp. He is floating at the top with the more square side pointing up. He tries to swim down every minute or so but is swimming vertically. And of course I can't find my peas anywhere, but I have soybeans. Will he die? Should I separate them from the other fish?
